Designing custom lacrosse uniforms comes down to six steps: choose your pieces and fabric, pick your team colors, add your logos, names, and numbers, request a free mockup, approve the design, and place your order. With dye sublimation you get unlimited colors and patterns, so almost any design you can imagine is possible.
Step 1: Choose your uniform pieces
Start by deciding what your team needs. Most teams build around a game jersey and reversible, then add shorts, shooting shirts, and warm-ups. Ordering these together as a team package keeps your look coordinated and lowers the cost per player.
Step 2: Pick your fabric
Different pieces perform best in different fabrics. Lightweight, moisture-wicking performance fabrics are ideal for game jerseys and shorts, while heavier blends suit warm-ups and hoodies. Browse the options on our fabrics page to compare.
Step 3: Choose your team colors
Because dye sublimation prints color directly into the fabric, you’re not limited to a handful of stock colors — you can match your exact team palette, including gradients and patterns. Use our color chart to select your colors, and if you need an exact Pantone match, our team can accommodate that in most cases.
Step 4: Add logos, names, and numbers
Upload your team logo and sponsor artwork, then add player names and numbers. With sublimation, names and numbers are printed into the fabric at no extra per-name charge, so full roster personalization won’t blow your budget. Have your logo files ready in high resolution for the sharpest results.
Step 5: Request a free mockup
Once you know what you want, request a free mockup. Our USA-based design team turns your ideas into a proof — usually within 1–2 business days — so you can see exactly how your uniforms will look before you commit.
Step 6: Approve and order
Review the mockup, request any changes, and approve your art and sizing. Once approved and paid, your order goes into production. Keep in mind the 6-unit minimum for sublimated orders, and allow 2–4 weeks for sublimation production.
How long does the design process take?
Most teams go from first mockup to approved design in a few days, depending on how many revisions you need. Starting early — before your season or tournament deadline — gives you room to perfect the design and still hit your delivery date. Ready to begin? Start your free design or contact our team.
