Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation (or dye-sub) is a digital printing technique that uses heat to transfer ink onto polyester and polyester resin-coated products. Using a wide-format inkjet printer, dye-sub inks are printed on a special transfer paper. From there, the ink is heat transferred from the paper onto a polyester fabric by using a heat press. The ink changes from a solid to a gas (hence the term “sublimation”) and enters the polyester fibers. The polymers in the polyester bond when heated, which allows the graphics to quickly become permanently embedded into your materials. As a heated gas, the ink becomes fully infused into the fabric instead of just printed on the surface, resulting in long-lasting, high-quality products. Compared to inkjet printing on other materials like paper or vinyl, dye sublimation is a more involved process since it involves multiple steps. However, the colors are generally more vibrant and the catalog of products you can sublimate on is huge.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a versatile printing process that you can use to customize a wide variety of substrates, including fabrics, paper, paperboard, plastics, glass, and metals. This embellishment consists of three elements: the screen, which carries the image; a squeegee; and ink. The process uses a porous mesh screen stretched tightly over a frame. A stencil is produced on the screen, defining the image to be printed. The ink is applied to the substrate through the screen using the squeegee; applied pressure forces the ink through the open areas of the stencil. Here at Dynasty, screen printing is most commonly associated with sports jerseys, apparel, lanyards, bags, and other merchandise forms.

Embroidery

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. The process begins by digitizing the design to be embroidered with the latest software. The pattern data is then entered into our industrial computerized embroidery machines and goes to work stitching the thread in the allocated spot on the material.

This style of embellishment is typically used to monogram or place a logo on shirts, jackets, hats, towels, and other types of apparel/fabric. The ideas are quite limitless when it comes to embroidery, as many colors are be stitched on creating a clean and classic look.

Vinyl Printing

Vinyl printing is the process of sending an image to an industrial printer that then places the image on vinyl material. Then image printing on the vinyl is then edited on the media to fit an intended purpose. As of today, vinyl printing is commonly used for banners and signage of all types. This process can also be used for dye-cut t-shirt designs or placing logos and words on things like windows/cars. In the dye-cut process, the design is printed on the vinyl, the printer then uses its rotating blade to cut around a specific pattern read by the software, Versaworks. Once the cutting is complete, the excess material is stripped away by hand, commonly known as “weeding” out the pieces. The design is then transferred from the vinyl paper to the media, normally t-shirts, windows, or cars.

While we offer all the vinyl printing options and more at Dynasty, this technology is generally used for school/senior banners, signage for companies and local businesses, and stickers/decals of any style. We can also wrap cars!

Cut & Sew

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other cut and sew is the process of cutting out a pattern on a certain type of media, usually fabric, and sewing the pieces together to create an item.

At Dynasty, we pride ourselves in also being a cut and sew manufacture. We’re known for our sublimation where we print your design onto your chosen high-quality fabric, then cut and sew them using our designed patterns but we also have a proficient seamstress team that is flexible in all areas of sewing. If you have a private label and want a mass production of a certain product, we can do it. If you want bulk of our exclusive leggings pattern and have the fabric or want to use our fabric, we can do it. Our seamstresses operate on top-end industrial machinery to maintain consistency and accurate production times. From socks to tents or bags to bulletproof vests, Dynasty can do it.

Graphic Design

While Dynasty is not a marketing firm, we do have a Graphics Designs Team with in-depth knowledge of the most common design avenues used today. From pattern creation to logo design and email blasts to production setup, our graphics team does it all. Our most common practice is production design and setup. A member of our team reaches out to a client and gathers information on their colors, logo, and ideas. A mockup is then generated and sent for approval to the client, once approved another member of the team begins to layout the design on a pattern the client has designated. Then the process continues with color sampling and logo/graphic placement approval then begins the mass setup, where a team member places the design on all pattern size ranges in the job (Youth XSmall to Adult 5X). Once setup is complete the job then moves to our production team where they take over and begin printing.

Our Graphics Design Team also does many other solutions throughout the day including; social media, marketing blasts, screenprint design, vinyl design, mockups, approvals, client interaction, pattern creation, color theory, branding innovation, logo re-creation, photo-editing, image retouching, video creation, website management, internet presence, and much more.
